From a splashback to a 48-storey tower
One crew preps it, lays it and cleans up after. Whatever the size of the job, it gets the same standard of work underneath and on top.
Gyms, wellness centres, apartments and high-rise. Saunas, steam rooms, plunge pools and even a snow room, plus balcony rectification across 48 floors in Surfers Paradise.
Restaurants, bars, clinics and retail. We slot into the shopfitter's program and handle the detail work: zellige, kit-kats, subways, mosaics and natural stone.
New builds and renovations: bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and alfresco. French pattern, travertine and natural stone, laid to the same standard as our own family home.

The work under the tiles is the part that lasts
Cracked tiles, drummy floors and leaking showers almost always start with the prep, not the tile. So we give the screed, the falls and the waterproofing the same care as the finish you can see.

Speed without shortcuts
300 m² of screed in two days at EMF Bethania. 84 m² of tiles in five hours when a job needed it. Fast is good. Fast and flat is the job.

Tilers and apprentices led on site by Shane. Dallin finished his apprenticeship here and now runs most of our pool projects.

Shane started Gray Tiling on the Gold Coast in 2020. A few years on it's a full crew of tilers and apprentices with jobs constantly running, and he's still the one leading from the front.

We're based on the Gold Coast and work across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay and the rest of South East Queensland. For the right project we travel further. The crew has worked in Toowoomba, Agnes Water and even Melbourne.
Do you take on residential jobs, or only commercial?
Both. We handle everything from a kitchen splashback to large commercial spaces, and we still love getting stuck into the right residential project.
Do you do the screeding and waterproofing too?
Yes. Prep is where most tiling problems start, so we handle the screed, the falls and the waterproofing ourselves before the tiles go down.
How far ahead do you book?
Our calendar fills up well ahead, so the earlier you get in touch the better. Send through your ideal start date and we'll tell you whether we can make it work.
What should I include in my enquiry?
The project size, any plans, the location, your budget and your ideal booking date. It helps us price the job properly and get back to you sooner.
Do you work with natural stone?
All the time. Travertine, limestone, grout-laid stone and stacked stone cladding, including 500 m² of cladding on one home. Natural stone needs sealing and resealing over time, and we'll walk you through how to look after it.
